1 Man, 1 McDonald's, 1 Night, 2 DUIs

Posted by Aaron J. Wolff | Mar 20, 2014 | 0 Comments

A New York man was arrested for two separate DUIs at the same McDonald's last Sunday, reports the Huffington Post.

Early Sunday morning, Zachary Boynton allegedly got into an accident at the drive-thru at a McDonald's in Oneonta, New York. Boynton reportedly drove his car into the back of a vehicle ahead of him at the drive-thru. When police arrived at the scene, they charged him with a DWI for having a 0.25 percent blood alcohol level -- more than three times the legal limit. Following the arrest, the police released Boynton to a third party that supposedly took the 31-year-old man home.

However, four hours later, Boynton allegedly came back to the same McDonald's. This time, instead of striking another vehicle, police say that Boynton struck the side of the building with his vehicle. He is then accused of fleeing the scene in his damaged car. Police found him at his home and arrested him with another DWI. Again he was released to a sober third party after he was booked for the crime.

Not surprisingly, Boynton had a history of DUIs even before last Sunday, He was arrested for a DWI as early as this past November.
